Our K-beauty Skincare BFFs

“My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me”
– Henry Ford

Not all best friends take form in humans or animals. In fact, they might be inanimately sitting on the shelf of your bathroom cabinet. In honor of this holiday, the Glow Recipe Team would like to introduce you to our personal skincare best friends! These are some of the products that we deem genuine, trustworthy, and reliable that we simply can’t live without. Let’s give our best friends the recognition and appreciation they deserve today!

Name: Hilary
Skin Type: Combination
Product: J. One Jelly Pack

My best friend, without a doubt, is the J.One Jelly Pack! It’s always there for me even on the mornings especially when I’m stressed out after sleeping through my alarms, rushing to catch the next train to work. Something I admire about the Jelly Pack is its ability to multitask and achieve many goals all at once. With just one application, I’m able to hydrate, moisturize, brighten, tighten, and prime my skin for makeup. I’m able to condense my 10-step evening skincare routine into 3 simple steps in the morning because of it. All I do is cleanse my skin, apply toner, and my best friend.

Name: Chelsea
Skin Type: Normal, dehydrated
Product: Make P:rem In-Shower Face Pack

I’m in love with this shower pack. It’s completely different than any other cleanser or soap that I’d use, because it clings to my face and stays on for the rest of my shower. I’m still in shock every time I get out of the shower and dry off my face, because it always feels tighter and seems to glow. I even felt this way after the first use! This product has changed my skin care routine for the better and I’m definitely not giving it up anytime soon.

Name: Carly
Skin Type: Sensitive, dry
Product: Make P:rem Safe Relief Cream

My best friend keeps my skin safe and sound. Its lightweight and non-oily texture absorbs so quickly into my skin (seriously, SO quickly), soothing and calming any redness and tightness with vegetable Squalene and softening Glycerin. The formula only has 12 ingredients, keeping things simple, harsh-free, and fragrance-free. I use this moisturizer in the morning and at night, and it proves to be a great step to my skincare routine. If you have skin similar to mine, don’t sleep on this product!

Name: Kerry
Skin Type: Combination
Product: Yuri Pibu Artichoke Power Essence

The Artichoke Essence is my all time best friend! My biggest skincare concern is the appearance of my pores and I’m in love with what this product does. It tightens the appearance of my pores nearly immediately after I apply it. The consistency is so smooth and glides right on my skin, I use it every morning and night. I put it on before using a moisturizer, so that it gets locked into place. I will literally never stop using this product!

Name: Cathy
Skin Type: Combination
Product: Huxley Extract It Toner

A best friend is always there for you, even through thick and thin (or in my case, through dry spells and bouts of oilness skin). The Huxley Extract It Toner has helped to balance my skin overall with its super fluid and watery texture. As my new go-to 7 Skin Method toner, it leaves my skin totally quenched without any stickiness.

Hello, my favorite is, wow hard to pick just one, the Primary Raw DoYou Soy Milk Cream. Combination, sensitive, & have acne skin type. I love how my skin soaks it up. My face feels so soft and smooth, and when I wake up the next morning my face is brighter. It doesn't feel too thick or heavy and love the glass jar. The Huxley Exact It Toner and Glow Recipe's Watermelon Sleeping Mask are right up there as well. I could name some more that are awesome too that I just love, but I'm trying to keep it short. ?
