How To Add The New #AvoRetinol Masks Into Your Routine

Our new Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Mask & Eye Sleeping Mask are a match made in heaven. Use them together to brighten to revive dull, dry or tired skin.

To use overnight, apply the Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Mask after cleansing and after applying any toners, serums or spot treatments. Use the spatula and apply one scoop all over the face, patting in with clean hands until it’s fully absorbed. In the morning, wash it off with your favorite cleanser and continue with your favorite AM routine.

We also love to use this as a wash-off mask when our skin is in a hydration crisis. To use during the day as a flash mask, we recommend applying about twice the amount as you would when you use it overnight (a full, heaping scoop). Just smooth a generous layer onto your skin (it shouldn’t sink in fully), leave it on for 10-15 minutes, and then wash off with your favorite gentle cleanser. This is a great way to add much-needed hydration if your skin is dry or flaky, to calm inflamed skin, or to add a luxurious, hydrating boost before applying makeup. 

You can also wear our Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask overnight to wake up looking rested and bright-eyed. To apply, use the included spatula to scoop out a pea-sized amount and distribute it between your two rings fingers – it’s best to use your ring finger because it’s the most gentle, and it won’t pull or tug at the delicate skin around your eyes. Pat it around your orbital bone in a circular motion until it’s fully absorbed.

You can also apply it during the daytime as an eye cream, because it’s smooth and hydrating texture makes a great base for makeup. If you do, make sure you apply over it a sunscreen that’s approved for use around the eye area.
