Big Gulpin’: The Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum is May’s Glow Gamechanger

The Blithe Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum is May’s Glow Gamechanger– a monthly product feature that highlights a treatment that’ll change your skincare game forever.

Before I met this month’s gamechanger, my skin was dull and flaky. My days with each generic moisturizer were numbered, as I tossed them aside one by one when they failed to show me any results.

Insert this month’s Gamechanger into my arsenal: The Blithe Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum is a moisturizer and serum hybrid that’s a true stunner. As in, it leaves gasping fans in its wake, wherever it goes. All jokes aside though, after applying a pea-sized drop of this ultra-hydrating, ultra-cooling treatment across my face and getting a good night’s sleep (essential), my skin looks slightly more like I could possibly be an extra on a K-drama. Certainly not the star of the show (although Jun Ji-hyun’s prominent mole gives me hope) but, considering my past, even getting to be an extra is progress. I have certain trouble spots, namely an oily T-zone with pimples laying in wait that like to play whack-a-mole with me and my excessive use of acne medications.

The Crystal Iceplant Pressed Serum hybrid disrupts the traditional category of moisturizers. Blithe’s exclusive 36-hour cooling process preserves the Ice Plant’s natural healing properties in extracted form, keeping them sealed tightly in the jar and suspended safely in the formula. The treatment actually diminishes blemishes and dark spots, commonly referred to as postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. It’s good for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin and those who are prone to redness and rosacea.

Not quite liquid, not quite solid…this viscous pudding imparts bounce and a big gulp of moisture to the skin to keep it from ever becoming too dangerously dry, which is especially relevant as we gear up for our days in the sun. The cool hydration of the jellylike custard is also relaxing to apply, helping you wind down after a long day or feel refreshed upon waking up. Turmeric helps to clarify the skin, leaving it a clean and softly hydrated canvas to apply makeup on, while Beta Keratin helps the nutrients penetrate deeply into the skin.

And for those (like me) who are late to rise in the morning and lazy to apply a ton of products onto the skin when heading to bed, the multitasking aspect of this treatment should be really appealing. Instead of applying an additional serum, you can simply swipe on this Pressed Serum after a cleanser and toner and be assured that your skin has gotten all of the nutrients that it needs. A new way of applying this treatment that I’ve discovered is to wear a sheet mask over a thin layer of the Ice Plant treatment, which gives my skin an extra boost of nourishment and calms any irritation.

Ice Plant, Eggplant…when it comes to plants, this Gamechanger has got a lot of them to back up its powers of rejuvenation. It’s also formulated with olive oil and argan tree kernel oil, which have been fermented for 120 hours, turning them into tiny molecules which are easily absorbed by the skin, leaving it glossy without heaviness. Eucalyptus soothes and brightens, and 63% Ice Plant extract plumps skin, leaving pores visibly minimized.

If I had to sum it up, this treatment looks like a tub of melted icicles, and leaves you feeling as cool as a polar bear, just the pick-me-up you need as summer approaches.

After many growing pains, I’ve finally found this pressed serum treatment to be the answer to my skin troubles. Discover the Crystal Iceplant at a Gamechanging price now through the end of May. Let us know in the comments and social media using #GlowGamechanger whether it’s your answer too!

Happy Gamechanging,
Shannon

Hello, i bought this for use during the day (have not received it yet). I have combination skin with dry mouth, chin and cheek areas but oil prone T Zone. Will an ampoule along with the Iceplant pressed serum suffice for night time use? i'm also considering the Yuri Pibu black truffle cream, J. One hanna cream for night use with an ampoule, or finally, the LJH Probiotic sleeping cream which i'm concerned may not be emollient enough for the dry areas. Will most definitely appreciate your advice!

Hello! May I know how should I go about deciding which pressed serum is more suitable for my skin? What are the differences between Crystal Iceplant & Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum pls? It seems that both can function as hydrating factor. Thanks!

Hi Chermin ! The Tundra Chaga is better for anti-aging and dry skin whereas the Iceplant is lighter so it's better for oily and combination skin.
