What is the ingredient breakdown of the 10% vitamin C blend?

Guava Eye contains 5 forms of clinically-advanced encapsulated vitamin C derivatives, including oil-soluble THD Ascorbate and water-soluble 3-O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbyl Acid, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, and Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, for an efficacious yet gentle 10% vitamin C complex!

What is niacinamide, and how is it beneficial to skin?

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that has been proven to brighten skin, smooth texture, and minimize the appearance of pores. Guava Eye contains a 3% niacinamide blend which works in cohesion with vitamin C, caffeine, and guava extract to help brighten and depuff!

What are the skincare benefits of guava?

Guava fruit contains 4x more vitamin C than oranges and helps to brighten dark under eye circles, improve skin luminosity, and provide antioxidant protection.

Where does the color come from?

The color of this formula comes from natural extracts from neem plant and moringa seed oil. It does not contain artificial colorants! 

Is the fragrance natural?

Our Guava Eye formula is free of added fragrance, however there is a natural, fresh scent due to the skin-beneficial plant extracts in the formula! It’s a very light, subtle scent of fruity guava.

Yes! Our Guava Eye formula has been ophthalmologist-tested and proven to be safe for use around the eye area. 

Is it safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding?

While our products are formulated to be gentle, we always recommend checking with your doctor before using new products when pregnant or breastfeeding to allay any concerns. Our Guava Eye formula does not contain retinol, BHA, or hydroquinone!

How is Guava Eye different from Avocado Eye? 

Guava Eye works to brighten, depuff, and firm all around the eye, with multiple forms of vitamin C, niacinamide, green caffeine, and guava extract! This lightweight gel cream works great under makeup, such as concealer and eyeshadow, and is great to use day or night. Avocado Eye is a richer cream compared to Guava Eye that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with encapsulated retinol, while nourishing the under eye with hyaluronic acid and avocado! Don’t forget to wear SPF when using either product!

How to use

How do I use this product?

We recommend using just one pea-sized pump amount for both eyes, applied under the eyes and on the eyelids. Dispense the product, warm it up between your ring fingers, and apply from the inner corner outward, gently tapping to blend into skin.

How often can I use this?

We recommend using twice daily, both morning and night. You can also alternate between using Guava Eye Cream and Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Cream.

Can I use it during the day?

Guava Eye Cream can be used during the day and at night. When wearing during the day, always pair with SPF.

Can it be used on the lid? 

Yes, we recommend using Guava Eye all over the eye area, including on the eyelids! The combination of vitamin C, niacinamide, and peptides helps to moisturize, brighten discoloration, and smooth texture, and clinical testing showed noticeable firming of lines on the eyelids specifically after two week of use.  It also works great on the eyelid under makeup such as eye shadow and concealer!

How can I use this with makeup? What makes this compatible with makeup? 

Guava Eye can be used around the eyes before applying makeup! Wait about a minute after application for the formula to absorb and hydrate before applying makeup on top. You can apply an eye primer or eyeshadow directly on the lid, or concealer under the eye! The moisturizers in this formula hydrate and smooth the skin for even application of makeup.

What is the proper way to store my Guava Eye Cream?

We recommend storing Guava Eye in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

The guava extract in this formula is uniquely processed to help conserve water and minimize food waste, so leftover pulp, seeds, and peel are reused as fertilizer! The guava seed oil is extracted from upcycled guava seeds through a cold-pressed method to save energy.

Our Guava Eye bottle is made with 20% post-consumer recycled glass and can be completely recycled! The 100% recyclable carton is made with FSC-Certified paper, is free of heavy metals or acids, and is printed with vegetable/soy ink.
