We’ve outlined what makes our organic hydrogel offerings so amazing in a myriad of ways, but here’s the TL;DR:

Hydrogels are the more potent cousin of cotton mask sheets, as the skin can absorb hydration from both the essence and the mask itself. As opposed to cotton mask sheets, the hydrogels we carry are made entirely of plant based cellulose and aloe vera that combine to form a thin, gel-like sheet. The mask is drenched in comforting serum that works to perfect and hydrate the skin. The unique gel material stays in contact with the skin for a prolonged treatment, wrapping in the nourishing ingredients, and conforms perfectly to the face as it heats up from the skin-to-gel contact.

We like to use a mask at the end of the day, after cleansing and toning and applying serum steps. If you’d like, let the mask of your choosing replace your serum step, and then follow the mask up with your favorite moisturizer.

Soyedodam Organic Ginseng Hydrogel Mask:

With 6 year old Korean Ginseng, Aloe, and Manuka Honey, the Soyedodam Hydrogel is perfect for firming and toning the skin. Amazing, Brightening Mask!
“Absolutely loved this mask! I’m 35 yrs old, live in humid, hot Florida, have some hyper pigmentation, fine lines, and very oily skin type. So I don’t typically opt for hydrating type masks/treatments. But after scheduling a chemical peel at a dermatologist office, so I thought it would be a good idea to have it on hand, in case I needed a boost of moisture. Even though I wasn’t peeling from the chemical peel, my skin felt tight by day 3. I put this mask on for about an hour and my skin looks radiant! After taking it off, I can still feel the gel on my skin, but it’s not sticky or uncomfortable. I would recommend doing it right before bed, so your skin can get the full benefit of the mask. The biggest difference I noticed was the improvement in my skin tone and uneven skin coloration on the sun spots I have on my forehead.”  – Ani
