Mix-and-Mask Cocktails: Yuripibu Lotus Water Mask + Black Tea Firming Mask

Our co-founders Sarah and Christine were so excited to bring Yuripibu stateside because of their crazy clean formulations and how well their products actually worked to improve skin. (In case you forgot, Sarah was utterly obsessed with the Artichoke Power Essence.) With each new product launch from Yuripibu, we get more and more excited. The newest additions to the roster: the Lotus Water Mask and Black Tea Firming Mask.

lotus

The Lotus Water Mask is formulated with 77% lotus extract, which is an ingredient rich in antioxidants and has long been used for its hydrating properties. The unique watery gel texture of this mask is easily spread across the face and deeply soaks into skin for lasting hydration. In fact, this mask could be used overnight as a sleeping pack on its own.

blacktea

Skin looking tired and looser than usual? Tighten up with the Black Tea Firming Mask, which contains 70% black tea extract. Known for its caffeine content and soothing properties, black tea wakes skin up by improving elasticity while brightening skin. This masks has a richer texture than the Lotus Water Mask, wrapping in the skin a comforting cream.

You know what they say: the best things come in pairs, and our new duo of Yuripibu wash-off masks are no exception. These two masks are partners in crime, fighting off your skincare woes with intense hydration and anti-aging antioxidants. The unique formulation of these masks allow you to mix, match, and layer them on top of each other.

Here are three masking cocktails tailored for your skin concerns:

For skin that feels and looks as dry as a desert

Step one: Apply a thin layer of the Lotus Water Mask – wait 10 minutes

Step two: Apply a thin layer of a mixture of the Lotus Water Mask and Black Tea Firming Mask – wait 10 minutes

When blended in a 1-to-1 ratio, the two masks create a rich and creamy blend that locks in moisture while imparting antioxidants to firm skin.

Step three: Rinse off with warm water

mix

The two masks mix to form a rich and creamy texture

For skin that is lacking elasticity

Step one: Apply a thin layer of the Black Tea Firming Mask – wait 10 minutes

Step two: Apply a thin layer of a mixture of the two masks – wait 10 minutes

Step three: Rinse off with warm water

For skin that deeply dehydrated, yet slick on the surface

Step one: Apply a thin layer of the Lotus Water Mask – wait 10 minutes

This first layer addresses dehydrated skin with intense hydration.

Step two: Apply a thin layer of the Black Tea Firming Mask – wait 10 minutes

This second layer then helps to boost and lift the outer layer of skin, for an even and plump complexion.

Step three: Rinse off with warm water

Of course, each of these masks work great on their own as 10-minute skin one shots, but we prefer our masks mixed. For a limited time, we’re offering a set of the two Yuripibu masks at a discounted price of $60 (compare to $64).
